Lent is a time of renewal. We focus on the death adn resurrection of Jesus--and i turn focus on our own death and resurrection found in baptism. We who have been baptized into Christ have died to sin and are righteous saints of God. At the same time, we know that we struggle daily with sin as we seek to follow Jesus. This is the wonderful Lutheran understanding of sinner and saint.

This is a perfect time to provide another way of connecting us during our time away from each other physically.  We can still connect Spiritually.  Remember to reach out to each other and others in the community via phone, email, texting, video conferencing, etc.  Provide the support, and caring attitude Christ has taught us. Share an encouraging message, listen, provide some humor or pleasant memories, and prayer during this time.

Our services are recorded and available usually within a few hours to a day after the service.  We had several quality issues when we did live broadcasting so have gone to recorded services to provide the best viewing  experience possible.
