The new church year begins with a wake-up call: Christ is coming soon! At the same time advent is filled with multiple times of Holy Disruptions. There is a call to stay awake and there is the urgent call of John the Baptist to mend our ways. We are surprised by the arrival of the Messiah and even more surprised that instead of fear and judgement we hear the promise of healing and restoration.  Advent surprises us and comforts us and we are moved to give glory to God for the gift of a savior born to set his children free.

This is a perfect time to provide another way of connecting us during our time away from each other physically.  We can still connect Spiritually.  Remember to reach out to each other and others in the community via phone, email, texting, video conferencing, etc.  Provide the support, and caring attitude Christ has taught us. Share an encouraging message, listen, provide some humor or pleasant memories, and prayer during this time.

Our services are recorded and available usually within a few hours to a day after the service.  We had several quality issues when we did live broadcasting so have gone to recorded services to provide the best viewing  experience possible.
