This is the Advent season and although Christmas is just around the corner for now we watch and wait and pray.  We know that Messiah is coming but we also know the by waiting the joy of that moment will all the more bring the hope and the saving presence of God into our midst. Let us gather with those we love.  Let us tell the story of how God is with us in the infant baby born to set God’s people free.

This is a perfect time to provide another way of connecting us during our time away from each other physically.  We can still connect Spiritually.  Remember to reach out to each other and others in the community via phone, email, texting, video conferencing, etc.  Provide the support, and caring attitude Christ has taught us. Share an encouraging message, listen, provide some humor or pleasant memories, and prayer during this time.
