January 27, 2019 -Third Sunday After Epiphany

Pastor Jeff Holter
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and is the 40 days leading up to Easter Morning. Often it is time of focusing on the suffering of Christ and an opportunity for those participating in Lent to take a closer examination of their lives and their relationship to Jesus. The cross often becomes central to this examination, but more than that is the realization that Jesus invites us to pick up our crosses and to follow him, and to lay down our lives for the sake of the world.
